"J&W is the best dealership I've dealt with, and I've dealt with a lot. I own/collect many older Suzuki ATV's, and I generally do all of the maintenance to them myself. I normally just need a dealer to get parts for me occassionally. Rick is very knowledgable and can always get me the part I need faster and usually cheaper than most other dealers without issue. Other dealers have ordered wrong parts for me many, many times, and have even let me order and pay for discontinued parts and then waited several months to let me know they've been discontinued (after me calling several times to check on the parts.) Not at J&W. They don't just click buttons for parts on these older machines. They use common sense, and will cross reference parts if another part may work.
Also, when I had trouble dialing in the carburator of an older ATV and had even taken it to a few other "professionals", I was ready to give up and buy a new carb. I decided to give J&W a try. After professionally cleaning it and checking the jet sizes, it still didn't run (suprise to them, but not to me since I had already done that.) But the mechanic asked me to let him "play" with the carb when he had time. I went back a week later and he had it purring like a kitten! Turns out it needed a pilot jet TWICE the size of the factor specs because the aluminum carb had been warped in some passageways! These guys don't just bolt on new parts like most dealers. They actually have the ability to problem solve with is rare these days for dealerships. In this case, the mechanic took it as a personal challenge to "get it right", and to my suprise, he did!

"I recently purchased a 07 yamaha vsrar 650. I thought the final drive was leaking. I also thought that when i brought it in i would be told that there would be nothing they could do because its a used motorcycle.needless to say i was very happy and very suprised when they said dont worry we will take care of it.now thats service!! j&w is number one in my book. p.s. the problem was just some lube as a result of a new tire being installed. "We don't live close to J & W but when we were looking for a beginner bike, they were the closest dealer with what we were looking for. Although that was not a high price bike, everyone there was friendly and helpful and treated us very well. We knew we would be purchasing a bigger bike soon. Because of the way they treated us during our 1st transaction, we returned there to "look" at bikes during our decision process. Again, we were provided with friendly, courteous service. I also liked that they had variety so we could compare different makes of bikes.
We did actually stop in at a dealer closer to where we live. They didn't seem to care whether they sold a bike or not.
So of course, we bought our next bike from J & W.
I highly recommend J & W Cycles. It is worth the time to travel to a dealership that provides courteous customer service. "

"Because of the long drive J&W cycles was the last place I looked, but it should have been the first. St. Louis motorcycle dealerships don't even come close to J&W's selection, prices, or service. The staff was very knowledgeable on all aspects of motorcycles, and there was absolutely no pressure during my purchase. I would recommend J&W to anyone looking to purchase a motorcycle or ATV. They don't stock many Victory parts or accessories, but the service department is excellent and helpful in ordering anything and I usually recieve the parts in a week.
